Cookie notice
This page describes the cookies Audit Canvas Base uses on auditcanvasbase.digital, how long they last, and how to accept or reject them. It should be read with our privacy notice. Last updated 18 August 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site can store in your browser. Some are needed for a choice you made (for example, whether you accepted analytics). Others help a site count visits. This site is a static brochure for a review practice; it does not require an account cookie to show pages or to send a brief.
Types we use
Essential. We store your accept or reject choice so the banner does not return on every page load. Without that cookie (or local storage entry), we would have to ask again. It does not identify you to us as a named person.
Analytics (optional). Only if you press Accept, we may set a first-party analytics cookie to understand which pages on this site are opened, in aggregate. Rejecting leaves the audits, notes, fees, and enquiry form working as before. We do not use the choice to change prices or to hide content.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| acb_cookie_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner can stay closed | 12 months (stored in localStorage on your device) | Audit Canvas Base (first party) |
| acb_page_view | Optional aggregate count of page opens after Accept; not used if you reject | 6 months | Audit Canvas Base (first party) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Both are always shown. Your choice is stored under the key acb_cookie_consent. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which forgets the choice and will show the banner again. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; the site will still render, and the form will still attempt to send.
If you previously accepted and now want analytics off, press Reject after clearing the stored choice, or clear localStorage for this site, then choose Reject when the banner returns.
Third-party cookies
Pages may load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not place a marketing pixel from a social network on this site. If we ever embed a map or a video, we will list that provider here before it goes live.
Images on this site are requested from public image hosts such as Unsplash or Pexels. Those hosts may set their own cookies or logs when your browser fetches a photograph. That is outside our banner. Use your browser’s blocking tools if you do not want those requests; layout may then show missing images.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting optional analytics does not block instrumentation-review content, fee tables, or the brief form. Blocking all cookies and storage may cause the banner to reappear. Blocking third-party image or font hosts may change how the page looks; the words remain readable.
